Grass Valley Homeless Outreach - Grass Valley, CA May 2015 (in progress)

Create a backpack filled with essential items for the homeless community. Included in the pack are food items, blankets, toiletries, and other items. 50-100 packs will be donated to local homeless organizations for distribution to those in need. This project is led by one of our scouts who has spent nearly every 4th Friday of each month cooking and serving food to our communites homeless and those in need at the "last Friday supper." 

Nevada County Airport - Grass Valley, CA May 2015 (Just Broke Ground)

Completely re-do the camping area. New road, level and DG camping area, 8 picnic tables, 6 perminant BBQ pits. This project is led by one of our ambitious scouts who plans to raise $14,000 in order to complete this project.

Mathis Pond - Grass Valley, CA - April 2015 (Completed)

Picnic Area, build picnic tables. This project is led by one of our previous senior patrol leaders who is racing against the clock to finish before he turns 18 this July.

Mathis Pond II- Grass Valley, CA - April 2015 (in progress)

Fencing, beautification, brush clearing. Also led by one of our previous senior patrol leaders, when combined with the previous project, Mathis Pond will be a great place for locals to visit and enjoy the outdoors.
